
Airy Choi, DMD, is a general dentist proud to be serving the patients at Watauga Family Dentistry. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. She later earned a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College in 2015 and her degree in Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University in May of 2020. Of her dental school class of 2020, Dr. Choi was the recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award and the American Student Dental Association Award for Excellence due to her very active involvement in school and organized dentistry. She was also inducted into the Honos Civicus Society for engaging in meaningful service and leadership activities during her time in dental school.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Clear Aligners. Along with these organizations, she is constantly taking continuing education courses to keep up to date with the most current dentistry so she can give her patients the best quality of care. She is also a speaker for dental school students, residents and other dentists; she loves to mentor and empower those in the dental field who share the same passion as her.
During her free time, Dr. Choi loves to garden, run, hike, travel, read and spend time with her husband, Daniel, and two dogs, Hiro and Koto. With the utmost empathy and respect, she strives to provide the best oral healthcare for all of her patients.
